Birding Field Trip To Jericho Beach Park

Leona Axbey and Maureen Collier will co-lead a walk in this area that will include shoreline, marshes, and forested areas. We can expect to see some familiar waterbirds, as well as returning migrants like swallows and warblers. Check out ebird for a list of birds seen here recently. https://ebird.org/hotspot/L248470

This is an easy walk along mostly level ground.  It will start at 9am and last approximately 2 hours. There is an option to bring your lunch and eat together, weather permitting.

Pre-registration is required and the trip is limited to 15 participants, including the trip co-leaders.  Email Leona Axbey to register:  rovintiger@gmail.com

Nature Vancouver members will be given priority.  Registration should be requested no later than Friday, April 12 for this trip.  

There is pay parking at the eastern entrance to the park, and there is a bus stop that runs by the park on 4th Avenue. Confirmation and directions will be sent by Friday evening.
