Join us on our next Nature Sketchbook outing at Camosun Bog! All are welcome to this casual get-together to explore the bog and nearby meadow. Sketchbook journaling is a great way to unwind, collect wildlife sightings and explore your creative side. No previous art experience needed. Just bring a pencil or pen and a note or sketchbook. The Camosun Bog is home to unique plants such as the round-leaved sundew, Labrador tea, bog cranberry and sphagnum moss. The bog laurel might be in bloom and if we’re lucky, we may see a few early butterflies. Lovely boardwalks offer easy walking and places to sit and sketch.

Bring a pencil or pen; a notepad or sketchbook; and any other favorite, portable art materials if you have them. Dress for the weather. Bring a snack, hat and water bottle. Optional supplies: camera and magnifying glass.
