
Vancouver Avian Research Centre: Shorebird Identification Workshop
Our friends at VARC are hosting a Virtual Shorebird Identification Workshop this November 2024.
Shorebirds are known for their epic migrations, stunning plumage, and unique behaviours, and this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning to identify and appreciate these fascinating birds of BC and the Pacific Northwest.
Join ornithologist Derek Matthews and VARC for a four-week journey, with sessions every Thursday evening this November (7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th) from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM. You’ll gain the skills to identify shorebirds not just locally, but anywhere in the world.
