Join us on our next Nature Sketchbook outing at Charleson Park, False Creek!  This park has lovely “secret” drawing spots tucked around the local pond and along the trails. A number of birds species have been spotted here: great blue herons, Cooper’s Hawks, a variety of songbirds, and a number of duck species. There are great views of False Creek, the North Shore Mountains, and any marine life that may make an appearance along the waterway. We have access to an indoor, heated room if the weather turns unpleasant.

All are welcome to this casual sketching session. Bring a pencil or pen; a notepad or sketchbook; and any other favorite, portable art materials if you have them. Dress for the weather. Bring a snack and water bottle. A small pad or something to sit on is also helpful.
