– City Nature Challenge 2025 – Stanley Park

Join Nature Vancouver for the ninth annual City Nature Challenge, which is an international bioblitz-style competition where cities are in a friendly contest with each other to see who can make the most observations of nature, find the most species, and engage the most amount of people into getting out and enjoying nature.

This walk is for April 27th at Stanley Park and will start at 2 PM.
This trip will be lead by trip leaders Jessie, Haley, and Kelvin – this walk is limited to 15 participants, with priority registration for current Nature Vancouver members. Please register by emailing kelvin@naturevancouver.ca and letting us know if you are a Nature Vancouver member. We will send meeting location details closer to the date.

City Nature Challenge uses the iNaturalist platform, so attendees should have iNaturalist installed on their devices if they are using a phone. Participants can also use cameras of course, and observations can be added to iNaturalist later on the computer.

Please dress for the weather accordingly, pack snacks & water, and be prepared to walk on unpaved paths or dirt trails.
