Birding Port Coquitlam’s Pitt River Dike. Join us for a half-day birding field trip along Port Coquitlam’s Pitt River Dike north from the east end of Nicola Place back to the parking lot at DeBoville Slough. (eBird Hotspot, Pitt River–DeBoville to Lougheed bridge). On last year’s field trip we added another 12 species to our growing list bringing the total to 88. This route covers excellent dyke-side habitats. Come out and again help us add to the total. Meet in the main parking area at Cedar & Victoria Drives (DeBoville Slough) in Port Coquitlam at 0900.
