Location: Burnaby Lake Regional Park
Join Natasha Beauregard to learn how to level up your bird identifying skills and become a citizen scientist! The Merlin ID app can help you identify birds, and you can record your findings on an eBird checklist. By uploading your checklist to eBird, it helps with global research on bird populations and changes in migratory routes. The paths we will be walking on are mostly level gravel or hard packed and very little in the way of hills or inclines. We will have a limited number of loaner binoculars to borrow. The outing will last 2+ hours.
