Whyte Lake / Cypress Provincial Park Hike

This is a joint hike with Friends of Cypress Provincial Park.  Join Lyn Grants and Jane Srivastava for a 3 hour hike up the standard trail to and around Whyte Lake and then head north on a forested trail to join the Baden Powell trail. We stay on the Baden Powell, steep and rocky at times, until we come to a provincial park sign indicating Cypress Provincial Park boundary. We will make frequent stops to look at ferns, trees, mossy rock walls and other interesting things that might catch our eyes.  Approximately 8 km return,  350 m elevation gain. Nature Vancouver rating B. Hiking boots recommended.
