Vanier Park Bird Walk

Leona Axbey will lead a bird walk through Vanier Park on a route that was popular with our departed friend and long-time Nature Vancouver birding field trip leader, Adrian Grant Duff.  The walk will start at 9 AM and last approximately 2 hours. This is an easy walk on mostly level ground.  There is an option to bring your lunch and eat together outdoors, weather permitting.

Various ducks, waterbirds, and migrants have been seen here in the last week, including; cackling geese, northern shovelers, widgeons, cormorants, hooded mergansers, Bewick’s wren, cedar waxwing.  Check out eBird for a full list: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L374029
