Nina Shoroplova, author of Legacy of Trees: Purposeful Wandering in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, will lead a tree identification walk in Trout Lake Park on Monday, October 23 at 9:30 am to 11 am. We will meet at the South end of the park, near the concession stand. Participants may want to refer to David Tracey’s slim volume, Vancouver Tree Book, pp. 14‑15. We will see the trees he identifies and more. Trip will go rain or shine. Terrain is flat but rain shoes may be helpful. Newcomers to botany are welcome.
