Spectacular Pacific NW Plants for Small Spaces
Spectacular Pacific NW Plants for Small Spaces
Calling all native plant enthusiasts, apartment dwellers, and container/hanging basket creators! We are embarking on an experimental project of designing and creating spectacular displays for small spaces using exclusively Pacific NW native plants. From a balcony or boulevard to a container or community garden plot, the goal is to celebrate native plants, feed pollinators, regenerate biodiversity within our urban spaces, support our local propagators and nurseries, and provide educational tools for the public. Full vaccination is required for participation – all interested welcome.
An initial planning meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 27th at an outdoor but partially enclosed and heated ‘gazebo’ near Britannia Community Centre.
Sunday, February 27th @ 11 am near Commercial Drive and Britannia. Please contact Allison Luke at allisonjaneluke@gmail.com for final details and to register.
