CIRCLE HIKE around the Point of Point Grey (Trip difficulty rating B7, one section C7)
Date&Time: Saturday March 17, 9am to 4pm
Circle route through various landscapes:  forest of Pacific Spirit Regional Park, ocean shoreline from West Spanish Banks, past Towers Beach, Wreck Beach and the North Arm of the Fraser to complete the loop back up through the forest.  Birding stops along the way.  Hike is fairly challenging due to length of the day trip, slippery shoreline rocks, mud, crossing over logs and climbing 250 steps up from the Fraser River.  A hiking pole is recommended.  Start and finish location will be 16th Avenue, west of Blanca.  Hike limited to 15 registrants.  To register, or for questions, email leaders Bev and Bill Ramey <bevramey@telus.net> or 604 224-7689.
