Join Vicky Earle on the next sketchbook outing at Camosun Bog!  All are welcome to this casual get-together. No previous art experience needed. Just bring a pencil or pen and a note or sketchbook. Sketchbook journaling is a great way to unwind, collect wildlife sightings and explore your creative side. The Camosun Bog is home to unique plants such as the round-leaved sundew, Labrador tea, bog cranberry and sphagnum moss. The bog is also home to different species of butterflies, dragonflies and birds including Lorquin’s admiral butterfly, cardinal meadowhawk and pileated woodpeckers. Bring a pencil or pen; a notepad or sketchbook; and any other favorite, portable art materials if you have them. Dress for the weather. Bring a snack, hat and water bottle.
