Marine life off British Columbia’s coast is very beautiful, bountiful and diverse. Marine life is an important food source for many people; yet little is known about their natural history, nor the value of sustaining them for our long-term benefit. Using a hands-on approach, visitors will have the opportunity to touch specimens, ask questions and learn about the role they play in our local marine foodweb.  Drop by Sheila Byer’s table inside the exhibition Wild Things: The Power of Nature in Our Lives anytime between 11 am and 3 pm.

This event is free with admission to the Museum. One of many weekly events in the exhibition Wild Things: The Power of Nature in Our Lives which is co-produced by Nature Vancouver and the Museum of Vancouver. This exhibition opens June 28, 2018 and is one of many celebrations of Nature Vancouver’s centenary.
