Come join an exploration of the incredible tree diversity growing in the Jericho Park Forest. From native trees like Douglas-Fir and Cedar to non-natives like Sycamore Maple, Horsechestnut, Cherry, and Elm. We will be learning to identify these trees, how they interact with each other, and some fun facts about them. Birders and other nature hobbyists are welcome! Together we will try to understand how Vancouver forests adapt to invasive species and climate change. This walk will be led by Ryan Regier, you can read his forest blog on the Pacific Spirit Park Society Website.

We will be meeting on the Jericho Pond Bridge at 5pm on Wednesday May 28th.The walk will go for about 2 hours. 5pm – 7pm.  Google Maps location – https://maps.app.goo.gl/Led14wxveZ3xd3je6
