Birding Trip to Iona Island Regional Park

Meet leaders Jan Lowcock, Harvey Dueck and Michelle Baudais in the parking lot near the washrooms at 8:30am. We’ll scan the shoreline and bay, the outer ponds and the wooded areas. The inner ponds are no longer accessible, but there is still lots of good birding territory.

Please dress for the weather. Some of the trails are rooted and uneven, so we’ll consider everyone’s comfort level with the route. Please bring binoculars, and scopes if you wish. Beginning birders are especially welcome. 

Pre-registration is required, and the trip is limited to 12 participants, including the trip co-leaders.
