iNaturalist EcoWALK: Learn how to use iNaturalist
John Martin and Paige Roper will lead a mini hands-on workshop on how to use iNaturalist in Pacific Spirit Regional Park. The event will start at 10 AM with 10-15 minute explanation of iNaturalist: both the desktop and mobile version. Participants may want to check the iNaturalist website (https://www.inaturalist.org/) and also download the mobile app for your device beforehand.
After the “preamble”, participants will take a guided EcoWALK on Lily-of-the-Valley trail with the objective of using iNaturalist and possibly participating in the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks “Snap & Share” event (see https://mvrpfoundation.ca/get-involved/regional-parks-snap-share/ for more information).
There is a maximum of 20 participants with pre registration required. Registration Form here: https://forms.gle/YwVMixBz9KRnSF4x9 . Further details will be provided to the registrants.
NOTE: This is a joint Nature Vancouver / Pacific Spirit Park Society event, and as such, the walk is open to Nature Vancouver members and the general public. Participants will be required to sign-in upon arrival including an acknowledgement of the inherent risks of participation.
