Botanie Valley Overnight Field Trip
Exploration of Botanie Valley, and the Lower Stein Valley near Lytton
Focus of Trip: Mariposa Lilies, Mountain Lady slipper and the myriad of Wild Flowers growing in the area
Dates: Sat-Sun June 2-3, 2018
Carpool Meet-Time: Saturday June 2, 7am. We will meet on the NW side of Moody Park, (which is just south of 8th Avenue, on 10th Street). We will travel via the Pattullo Bridge and Highway #17 to Highway #1.
If you are coming to New Westminster by Skytrain, make arrangements with Harry to be picked up from New Westminster Station, North Side.
If driving on your own: we will meet in Lytton in front of the ScotiaBank at 10:30 am.
Accommodation and Meals will be paid for individually. Shared accommodation may be organized. Each participant will have to arrange payment with others sharing the room. On other trips, the Totem Motel was satisfactory (Harry) or for campers, there is Skihist Provincial Park (Campsites cannot be reserved in advance http://www.lytton.ca/content/accommodation & http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/skihist/

Trail Conditions: Exploration in open meadows or park trail in the Stein Valley
Footwear: Boots Recommended
Sustenance: Bring Water/Lunch.
