Birding in Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver
Please join Jan Lowcock for a birding trip in Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Park. We’ll explore the various habitats (ponds, gardens, golf course edges, cedar groves, brush areas) for resident and migrating birds and perhaps a few nests. Please bring binoculars if you have them. We will have a spotting scope to enjoy the birds who pose for us. The park is also a great spot for bird photography if you are interested. As always, wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. There are public washrooms in 2 areas of the park.
Please register at janet.lowcock@naturevancouver.ca. Meet up details will be sent out after you register. Due to the narrow trails and walkways of the park, we will limit the number of participants to 15.
