Peter Ward (PSPS & Nature Vancouver) and Sam Bundenthal (PSPS) will lead a guided walk in the North area of Pacific Spirit Regional Park located between University Blvd. and Chancellor Blvd. We’ll concentrate on looking at the migrant and migrating birds in the “Beaver Pond” area. This walk is meant for beginner birders and more experienced birders alike. We’ll practice using the Merlin Bird ID App (for smart phones) so best to download this App prior to the EcoWALK: SEE HERE for ‘how to’ guides. Meet in the south side of the University Chapel parking lot SEE MAP.

After sign-in, we will walk along either Sword Fern trail or Salish trail towards Spanish trail where we will head slowly towards the “Beaver Pond” with its open wetlands and good sight lines.
