Birding at Jericho (FULL)
Join trip leaders Harvey Dueck and Michelle Baudais for a morning of birding at Jericho Beach Park.
With a good range of habitats, from ocean to ponds and forest, Jericho is one of the more diverse birding areas in the lower mainland despite its very urban location. eBird shows 241 species reported there. March is a bit early, but we might spot a few Loons or Horned Grebes who have molted into their breeding plumage before they head north to their breeding grounds.
The trip will be limited to 15 participants and is full as of March 6th. Please email webmaster@naturevancouver.ca to be added to the waiting list. Details of where to meet will be emailed to registered participants.
New birders are welcome.
