Birders’ night: Identifying Common Shorebirds in the Lower Mainland

Thursday, September 2, 2021 @ 7:00 pm, online.  NOTE: thirty minutes earlier than usual. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Join us this Birder’s Night for a special WildResearch Workshop, presented by Joachim Bertrands! Shorebirds make the most lengthy migration of many bird species, and yet they remain a mystery for many birders. A diverse species variety with similar plumages is the recipe for disaster. With this workshop, Joachim provides an overview for the most common species we can observe in the Lower Mainland from his experience.

How to Register: You must register in advance in order to receive the Zoom link for this workshop. For more information and to register, please visit the CanadaHelps.org event page. The cost for non-WildResearch members is by donation (min. $5.00). On that page choose the non-member / “Western Sandpiper” $5.00 ticket, click “Get Tickets”, fill in your contact and payment information, and submit. Your receipt and the Zoom link for Thursday will be emailed to you.  Event is free to Wild Research members .
Spaces are limited for this event, so be sure to register early to ensure you get a ticket. See you there!
