Bird Walk at Centennial Beach Tsawwassen – Sunday, November 23, 9 am
Brant
Join trip leaders Ly Hoang and Neill Vanhinsberg for a morning birding field trip to Centennial Beach, Boundary Bay Regional Park in Tsawwassen. We will explore a mixture of habitats including hedgerows, small shrubby/wooded areas, marshes, open ocean and beaches looking for waterfowl, marsh birds, raptors, wintering ducks and geese and some shorebirds if there aren’t too many dogs on the beach.
All birders are welcome, including beginners. The trails are mostly flat and hard packed or sand. This walk will be 2½-3 hours and is limited to 15 participants.
Please preregister by email to nvanhinsberg@gmail.com. We will send you detailed information about our starting location. If you would like to borrow binoculars for the event, please let us know in the email.
Late fall birding is one of the best seasons for birding in the Vancouver area and we hope you can join us.
