🌿RECLASSIFIED: Hayward Lake Hike

This hike is going ahead, BUT as a small informal hike NOT sanctioned by Nature Vancouver.
Preregistration is required.

Enjoy rolling terrain in a beautiful mixed conifer forest with early spring flowers, birdsong, waterfalls, bridges over mossy creeks and some lake views. The floating bridge across Hairsine Inlet is closed, so instead of a circuit, this trip this will be a leisurely 16km ‘there and back again’ hike along the east side of Hayward Lake. The trail is generally well maintained with some steeper sections and about 300m elevation gain. In March 2015 we saw a rare ‘Quadrillium’ !

Trip goes rain or shine. Dress for the weather including good boots or hiking shoes, and pack lunch and fluids.

Pre-register with trip leaders Teresa Gagné & Denis Laplante to obtain directions, details and the health precautions we are taking. <email: d_t_01 (at) shaw (dot) ca> home: 604-437-4453.
