🌿 Hike to Blue Gentian Lake

This is a joint hike with Friends of Cypress Provincial Park.  Join Lyn Grants (FCPP) and Janet Snell for another botanical exploration hike to Blue Gentian Lake.  This alternate route will leave from the Hollyburn Cross-country ski area and pass by other lakes as well.  The route is moderate but there are some steep and gravelly/rooty sections.  Sturdy hiking boots and a hiking pole are highly recommended.  Blue Gentians are blooming at the lake as well as other notable bog and pond plants.  See plant list at: https://cypresspark.ca/plants  Trail map available at: https://cypresspark.ca

Pack a lunch and drink. Trip goes rain or shine so bring clothing for changeable weather.
