2019 Niut Lake Summer Camps – A Retrospective

For many members of Nature Vancouver, this year’s summer camps at Niut Lakes, were  the best camps ever. Despite some poor weather during the second week, the area is one of the most spectacular, rivalling the other favourite, Cinnabar Basin.

In addition to the joys of attending the camps, there are always challenges involved in organizing and managing these camps. The current Camp Committee has reached a turning point where we now have to have new members to contribute their enthusiasm and expertise to continue organizing our summer camps.

Denis Laplante will present a selection of spectacular photos taken by various campers. He has also created a special ‘fly-over’ video of the camp site and the surrounding area. There will be a brief synopsis and discussion of the challenges of organizing Nature Vancouver summer camps.

Join us for light refreshments starting at 7 pm followed by the presentation at 7:30 pm.
