Join leader Naomi Ross for a Hike to Burnaby Mountain on November 13. It’s a good opportunity to see the deciduous trees in all their fall glory. This hike is about 10 km round trip, and has an elevation gain of 260 m. It has a rating of 4B (4 hours, moderate difficulty), because most of the elevation gain is in the first hour. Going up 500 winding, wooden stairs may be challenging for some people, so please make sure you can do it. It will be slow paced. Following the hike, there is an optional “bring-your-own” picnic in Barnet Marine Park. The hike will start at 9:00 and we should be back to the parking lot shortly after 12:00.
