Learn your shorebirds and spend a couple of hours searching for scarce species such as Pacific and American Golden Plover, Ruddy Turnstone, Red Knot, Marbled Godwit, Long-billed Curlew and Red-necked Phalarope. Bring binoculars, a snack and smile. There is no shade. The leader will have a spotting scope but if you have one please bring it.
