On June 30th, after a perfect morning with Vicky Earle in Pacific Spirit Park immersed in nature and the sketchbook journaling workshop, the group unanimously voted to meet on a regular basis. Nature journaling is a relaxing and fun way to connect with the natural world. It’s an accessible and easy way to improve your powers of observation and ability to see beauty and detail. 

Join us on the next sketchbook outing at Camosun Bog!  All are welcome to this casual get-together. No previous art experience? No problem! Just bring a pencil or pen and a note or sketchbook. It’s a great way to unwind, collect wildlife sightings and explore your creative side. The Camosun Bog is home to unique plants such as the round-leaved sundew and bog laurel (which may be blooming at that time) as well as sphagnum moss.
