Birding at Colony Farm – Coquitlam
Leona Axbey and Maureen Collier will co-lead a birding walk at Colony Farm Regional Park. The walk will start at 9 AM and will last approximately 3 to 4 hours with a break for lunch. This is an easy walk on mostly level ground. Various ducks, waterbirds, and migrants have been seen here recently, including; gadwalls, wood ducks, mallards, flycatchers, kinglets, warblers, swallows. Pre-registration is required and the trip is limited to 15 participants, including the trip co-leaders. Email Leona Axbey by May 12 to register: rovintiger@gmail.com. Priority will be given to Nature Vancouver members. Carpooling is at the discretion of drivers and passengers. If you need a ride or can offer a ride, contact Leona.
