Flatiron hike – difficulty rating D6

Hike to Flatiron Peak near Coquihalla Summit. This will be a strenuous day hike, beginning with a steep climb (approximately 600 metres in 2.5 km from the trailhead) followed by a moderate hike in a rocky basin and a light scramble to an open summit. Total 9-10 km return. Pack lunch and gear for all weather conditions including rain, sun and wind. This hike may be moved or cancelled depending on weather conditions (including heat) and highway construction. Difficulty Rating D6.
