🦀What Octopuses Eat and Why: A Unique Research Trip to the South Pacific
Octopuses, like humans, have different personalities, levels of intelligence and food preferences. Keely Langford, with a diverse team of scientific experts, embarked on a research expedition to French Polynesia in 2014 to explore how these factors interrelate. Together, they administered octopus personality tests and analyzed octopus meals, detailing the results in a scientific paper. Unusually though, the team was joined by author Sy Montgomery who documented their time in the South Pacific for the general public in the book “The Octopus Scientists: Exploring the Mind of a Mollusk” and “The Soul of an Octopus”. Join Keely as she discusses her unique experiences in Moorea as part of this diverse team.
