Birds will be on nests and feeding chicks in July, more wildflowers in bloom, and if warm enough we may see some butterflies. We will walk the Yew Lake Trail Loop, and the small old growth loop, then back to the lodge. There is no change in elevation on this walk. Dress for variable conditions, cool at the start, the ground will be rocky at times, hiking poles may be helpful, and bring binoculars.
