Bird Walk at Jericho Beach
Join Christine Balkwill and Neill Vanhinsberg for a quiet morning bird walk through Jericho Beach Park. Jericho has a variety of habitats creating the potential to observe a nice range of species. We will look and listen for various sparrows, finches, tits, nuthatches, wren, swallows, thrush, woodpeckers, warblers, heron, ducks, and the occasional raptor. The total walk distance is 2-3 kilometers on gravel trail and grass and is mostly flat. We may add an optional short walk on the beach, time permitting.
All levels are welcome. Let’s share our birding knowledge and our birding joy!
Registration limited to 20 participants. This event is now full and registration is closed.
