Nina Shoroplova, author of Legacy of Trees: Purposeful Wandering in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, will lead a tree identification walk in Trout Lake Park on Monday, August 21 at 10 a.m. We will meet at the south end of the park, near the concession stand. Participants may want to refer to David Tracey’s slim volume, Vancouver Tree Book, pp. 14‑15. We will see the trees he identifies and more. Newcomers to botany are welcome.
