STANLEY PARK BIRDING FIELD TRIP (NOW FULL)
Join trip leaders Sarah-Jane McAuley, Michelle Baudais, and Harvey Dueck for a morning of birding at Stanley Park.
We will explore a few different habitats on this walk, and are likely to see a variety of over-wintering songbirds, ducks, and seabirds. We will also watch for some of the park’s larger residents, like great blue herons and bald eagles. The walk will be over mostly flat gravel or paved surfaces. Washrooms are available on site.
The trip will be limited to 15 participants. Details of where to meet will be emailed to registered participants.
This walk is now full with the maximum number of participants registered.
New birders are encouraged to attend, and questions are very welcome! There will be some binoculars to lend out if you don’t have a pair.
