Snowshoe Hike – Difficulty Rating B5
Join Bill Kinkaid on a snowshoe hike. Weather and highway conditions permitting, we’ll explore trails in Callaghan Valley and Whistler Olympic Park. There is a variety of trails that are mostly moderately easy but this trip is not recommended for beginners. Elevation change up to 100 metres with minimal avalanche risk. Please be prepared to spend a day out in cold and possible wet conditions. Waterproof footwear and clothing are required – several layers is better than one or two layers. Bring lunch and a warm beverage. Click here for more information on the park.
This trip needs drivers with vehicles with winter tires as they’re required on the highway. We’ll pick an alternate destination or reschedule if weather or highway conditions are poor. Contact email@example.com by Wednesday 5 March to register.
