Tree & Shrub Identification Walk in Jericho Beach Park
Nina Shoroplova and co-leader Caroline Penn will lead a walk in Jericho Beach Park. We will see some quite young and some fully mature ornamental and native trees, as well as some native and naturalized shrubs. We will grow our woody-plant identification skills.
Pay parking is available in the parking lot at the beach, but there is also free street parking in the area if you hunt for it. Park in plenty of time to register yourself (soon after 9:00 a.m.) on Nature Vancouver’s forms. We will meet near the south end of the east parking lot. (See Map). It is an easy walk on mostly flat ground for around 2 hours. Wear boots and a sunhat, and bring water.
Register for the walk with Nina Shoroplova by email, and put Jericho Beach Park in the title of the email.
