Dr. Christine Bishop is a research scientist with Environment Canada. The Yellow-breasted Chat is listed as an Endangered Species in B.C. and Dr. Bishop will describe the unique aspects of this species and the research and population recovery in B.C., Oregon and Mexico. She has been the Chair of the Yellow-breasted Chat Recovery Team in BC since 2000. In 2007 she received recognition for Outstanding Science and Conservation in the South Okanagan-Similkameen Conservation Program.
