SUMMARY:NEW BRIGHTON WORK PARTY
DESCRIPTION:The Saturday\, May 9th New Brighton work party starting at our 
 new summer schedule time of  8:45 am – 11:30 am (which now includes si
 gn in plus tea and treat time at end) will focus in particular on pulling
  Purple Vetch which starting to strangle native perennial flowers and shru
 bs we’ve planted\, clipping grass around native plants and digging up sp
 routing out Bull Thistle before the soil hardens from drying out.\n\nThe N
 ew Brighton Biodiversity Enhancement’s project’s long term goal is to 
 remove invasive monoculture plant species and replace them with a variety 
 of native perennial herbaceous flowers and shrubs to promote greater biodi
 versity of insects\, other pollinators\, birds and animal life.\n\nFor mor

 ps us to plan the provision of adequate gloves\, tools and treats to share
