New Brighton Restoration – Work Party

In 2+ years Nature Vancouver & over 250 volunteers have transformed the west side of the park. We’ve removed Scotch Broom, Himalayan Blackberry, Bull Thistle and other invasive plants. We’ve planted 1500+ native perennial flowers & shrubs and would love your help to do more!
The reason of course is that we have a good number of VPB native perennial flowers and shrubs left to plant and winter is coming. The weather looks wet but it is a chance for everyone to check the condition of their rain gear before the onslaught of the rainy season.
So come and join on Sunday for a soul restoring endeavour. Many of the native perennial flowers we are putting in are new and should enhance the park with not only more diverse pollen sources but some lovely new colours.
Look forward to seeing you sometime soon!
