Meet the Mosses with Connor Wardrop, bryologist and Ph.D. candidate at UBC. The primary goal of Connor’s walk in Stanley Park will be to learn about a dozen or so common moss species, using each as an example to discuss the diversity of moss morphologies, ecologies, and evolutionary histories.

Saturday, March 28, 2026. The 1.5 to 2 hour walk begins at 10 a.m.

Register by email with Nina Shoroplova and she will provide the location. The walk is limited to 20 participants. Arrive fifteen minutes before the start to fill in Nature Vancouver’s waiver forms.
