Learn your shorebirds with Tom Plath (778 928-9206). Meet the the leader at 0900 AM at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary entrance on Westham Island, Delta on Sunday September 6th at 0900 AM. Reservations are required and can be reserved starting three days in advance of your visit. Please visit their website ReifelBirdSanctuary.com . Bring binoculars and a snack for this half day visit. We will go through behaviour, field marks, aging, and perhaps sexing shorebirds visiting the sanctuary.
