Create deeper connections to nature through sketchbook journaling and discover details most people will never see! Join Vicky Earle, science illustrator and artist for conservation, for a 3-hour introduction to Nature Sketchbook Journaling in Pacific Spirit Park. Open a world of wonder by slowing down and noticing the infinite beauty of nature. Nature journaling is a relaxing and fun way to connect with the natural world. It’s an accessible and easy way to improve your powers of observation and ability to see beauty and detail – plus you don’t have to travel far to do it! Nature journaling is useful for collecting wildlife sightings and it also allows you to playfully explore your creative side. Vicky will share tips and techniques on how to start a nature journal and motivate you to make nature sketchbook journaling a habit. All you need to bring is your curiosity, paper and a pencil or pen. Everyone is welcome! No previous art experience required.
