Identifying Trees in Winter at Kitsilano Park and Kitsilano Beach Park
Nina Shoroplova (author of Legacy of Trees: Purposeful Wandering in Vancouver’s Stanley Park) and Caroline Penn will co-lead a walk, identifying the evergreen and deciduous trees growing in these connecting parks. An easy walk. The terrain is flat and includes grass, mud, gravel, and sand. Some free parking is available on Cornwall Avenue. Bus No 2 Downtown (in the other direction, it is No 2 MacDonald) goes along Cornwall Avenue, beside Kitsilano Park and Kitsilano Beach Park. 

Walk will go rain or shine and is limited to 15 participants. If you are interested in attending this walk please pre-register by contacting caroline@naturevancouver.ca.
