The walk will be generally on graveled forest trails, with little elevation change. The difficulty rating for this walk is A/B-2. This walk is a follow-up to the Special Topics Thursday presentation from Jan.26, Three Restoration Projects by Nature Vancouver Members, as walk includes a look at a PSPS’s restoration project.

This walk is part of a series of EcoWalks titled First Sunday EcoWALKs by Pacific Spirit Park Society (PSPS) and Friendsit is offered jointly by PSPS and Nature Vancouver. The guides for the walk are Ryan Regier and Sam Bundenthal, volunteers with PSPS. Participants are encouraged to register for the walk using the PSPS’s registration form found here.

The meeting location is behind (North side of) University Chapel (5375 University Boulevard) at the picnic table area beside the playground. Here all participants are required to sign-in using PSPS’s EcoWALK participation form. This form includes a release of liability statement that participants must initial. Parking is available in the University Chapel parking lot; please ask at meeting location for a parking pass.
