Dipper Quest 2022/23

Nature Vancouver’s annual quest to find American Dippers was postponed from December and will take place on Sunday, February 5th, 2023.

Larry Cowan led the quest from 2006 to 2019 and never failed to find at least one dipper. Michelle Baudais and Harvey Dueck led the trip in 2021 and will lead this trip as well.

This half day trip will begin at Maple Ridge Park, where we hope to find at least one dipper and maybe a few other birds.  From there we will drive to Jerry Sulina park to bird along the dike for sparrows and waterfowl.  We will end the quest with a drive to the Connecting Road area to look for raptors and gulls.

Carpooling is encouraged because parking is limited.  As covid is still with us, people carpooling from different households are strongly encouraged to wear masks.  Please read the NV COVID policy.
