🌿Can native and introduced plants live in harmony? A joint botany walk for Nature Vancouver and Wild Bird Trust.

Walk leader: David Cook.
Meeting time and location: 1:30 at the Corrigan Nature House (new building) in the Conservation Area at Maplewood Flats, 2645 Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver 603-903-4471. 
Duration of walk: Two to three hours.
Description of walk: Walk the trails of the Conservation Area at Maplewood Flats and learn how to identify the native and introduced plant species that grow in this rehabilitated area as well as interesting facts about their biology and ecology.
Terrain and elevation gain: Flat and wheelchair accessible.
Nature Vancouver difficulty rating: A (Easy path or road with minimal elevation change and minimal hazards).
Registration: Because of a need to limit the size of the group and because the event may be rescheduled due to weather, registration is required. Contact David at cookeco2@yahoo.com to register.
