Birding trip to ƛ̓éxətəm (tla-hut-um) Regional Park (formerly Colony Farm)
Join trip leaders Jan Lowcock and Michelle Baudais at 9am on Saturday April 19th for a pleasant morning of birding at ƛ̓éxətəm (tla-hut-um) Regional Park. ƛ̓éxətəm is one of the Metro Vancouver’s birding hotspots. eBird records 224 species! The park is a mix of marsh, river, field, and treed habitats and in April we can expect to see a variety of ducks, swallows, and perhaps a raptor, a Vaux’s swift, or a warbler or two.
Attendance is limited to 20: please email janet.lowcock@naturevancouver.ca to register.
