Join trip leaders Harvey Dueck and Michelle Baudais at 8am Saturday June 14th for a few hours of birding at Burnaby Lake.  Instead of focusing on Piper Spit, this trip will begin at an alternate location where the forest birding is usually good. Bring your ears as well as your eyes.

• If there’s interest, we can set up a vanpool from Nanaimo SkyTrain Station to Burnaby Lake.  When you RVSP, let us know if you’d like to use the vanpool.  (Meeting time: 7:15am)
• There will be a few pairs of loaner binoculars available for those who need them.
• This trip involves 3-4 km of walking and standing on level ground using gravel paths and boardwalks.  There are two short staircases to access a bridge.
